The Duomo District: The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Florence, in the ancient district of San Giovanni, where you can admire at a glance the monuments that make the city famous, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In Piazza Duomo there is the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with Brunelleschi’s masterpiece dome, Giotto’s soaring Bell Tower and the ancient Baptistery of San Giovanni. The surroundings offer numerous points of interest such as the “Museo dell’Opera del Duomo”, the Bargello Museum, the Buonarroti House, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio.
